Day in, day out, our basic personal routines can seem utilitarian.

The Simone team partnered with Brizo, a luxury kitchen and bath fixtures brand with an affinity towards distinctive designs, innovation, and craftsmanship. Brizo products are inspired pieces of art. We were tasked with the challenge of pairing these innovative designs with carefully crafted imagery that inspires customers. The approach for this campaign was anything but routine.

Camera movement was going to be an essential component of the formula. To showcase the painstaking attention to detail that comes with Brizo fixtures, we combined the power of the Sony FX9 and Zeiss Otus lenses, with the seemingly endless flexibility of the Cammate Travel Series jib and remote head. Additionally, when space was at a premium, and absolute precision was needed, we relied on the Emotimo Spectrum ST4 motion control platform. With this arsenal of tools by our side, we were well on our way to creating inspirational visuals that live up to the Brizo name.

Brizo’s obsession for pushing the limits of design plays a big part in what separates their products from the ordinary. These modern pieces of art showcase the marriage between form and function. No form can be fully appreciated without a carefully crafted approach to lighting. The Simone team has been, and always will be obsessed with the craftsmanship of light and shadow. The design of Brizo fixtures provided the perfect canvas.

Our goal was to reveal these designs in a harmony of lighting and camera movement. We utilized several different techniques to create imagery that breathes life to these fixtures. By combining the portability of Astera Titan Tubes, the versatility of Litepanels Gemini Series LED panels, K5600 Joker HMIs and an assortment of creative lighting modifiers, we were able to create a captivating display of light and shadow.

This campaign was so much fun. It’s very rewarding hearing our clients’ reactions filled with audible gasps and wows during playback. Followed by subtle celebrations amongst the crew for a job well done.
